Colin says: As luck would have it, the wire from the old fence had merely snagged under the horse's shoe and the animal was uninjured. It is however the second time in a few months that West Shore Park residents have had to free a distressed horse from the same fence. On the first occasion the animal eventually became so distressed that as soon as it was free it kicked out and broke one of the steel reinforced concrete panels on the boundary wall.
