Problem #2 - Lack of Consideration

the problem with this type of physical barrier is a total lack of consideration in it's design.

It allows prams and bicycles to pass through - but niether the larger Class 2 nor "standard" Class 3 invalid carriage are able to negoiate a sufficiently tight turning circle to allow them access. This design is a quite recent one and could relatively easily be adapted to allow disabled access simply by lengthening it sufficiently... so that the invalid carriage can drive in - reverse back up the U bend - then proceed forward along the path.

What makes this particular barrier so annoying is that not only is there a full-sized padlocked farm-gate adjacent to it.... but there is also a smaller padlocked metal gate off to one side which was installed at the same time as this barrier and which could quite easily be fitter with an NKS RADAR LOCK which many disabled people already have to allow them access to disabled toilets!

Such a simple solution - and yet nobody has ever thought to implement it.

How much would fitting a different sort of lock cost? Not very much, is my guess!
