Any Photo Gallery can now be viewed as a Slide Show by clicking the relevant link on this page; or through the individual Slide Show links which appear at the top of gallery pages. The default state for all slide show links on this page is to open them in a small popup window (i.e. one of a suitable for use with 56k net conenction - but which you can re-size anyway) with comments turned off, auto advance enabled, and with an 8 second pause between slides.
Thanks to newly developed dynamic image serving techniques; visitors may determine the maximum size of images they will be sent simply by choosing to re-size the slide show's browser window. Should you need to do that; the Slide Show's "settings" link can then be used to re-calculate the new dimensions of your brower window; this causes all future images to be automatically re-sized to the new dimensions before they are sent.
Provison has also meen made to hide or display gallery comments whilst viewing slide shows. And of course such things as auto-advance (to the next image) and how long to wait before that occours (or even if you want it to occour at all) can also be changed through the slide show's settings link.
